Do they pack extra sweater vests? Do they not have to stop to go to the bathroom as much as other fans? It might be the lamest claim to make on behalf of your fans. it means that no matter where they play they have a good turnout. reference back to the games in the desert. they had an overwhelmingly large showing for those games. their fans are loyal and travel to the game no matter where it is.

umm, wow does this really need explaining, I know you guys down south do not have plumbing & fancy things like that yet but it simply means that they have been a good road team this year, thats important because its basically a road game for osu being only 80 miles from lsu's campus

I never thought anyone was retarded eno 7;gh to not know what travel well meant, but I guess I was wrong. They have fans all over the country and can get fans in the seats even when the game is far, that is what travel well means. It takes away a home field advantage so it means anything, I know you just started watching football or at leas I guess you did by your previous answers and questions but now you know what it means.

It means that the team supporters wil 08; be willing to travel large distances and spend money to see a game. A teams fan base that travels well will typically fill hotel rooms were a game/bowl is being hosted, spend money at the bars and restaurants there and purchase their school's full allotment of tickets for a game. Teams that have these kinds of reputations are more sought after when bowl invites are sent out because the areas that host the 5;e bowls depend on visiting fans spending money and filling the hotels (not to mention filling the stadium). By the way, I work in sports travel and I can tell you from experience that Ohio State does, in fact, travel very well.
